Empowering Educators as Catalysts for Change
Dr. Jill Davis is a professor of education, speaker, and advocate, dedicated to advancing policies that support children, educators, and equitable access to high-quality learning. Her work bridges research, practice, and policy, empowering pre-service and in-service teachers to become reflective practitioners.
Jill’s research focuses on teacher advocacy, public policy, early childhood mathematics, and trauma-responsive practices- helping educators foster resilience, emotional well-being, and student success. She shares her expertise through writing, speaking engagements, and professional development sessions at national, state, and local levels.
At the heart of her advocacy is the belief that lasting change begins with policies that elevate the teaching profession and prioritize young learners’ needs.
Jill is the co-author of the book, From Breakdowns to Breakthroughs: 10 Simple Strategies to Reduce Disruptions and Create Trauma-Responsive Classrooms, written in collaboration with her friend and colleague, Dr. Katie Fields.
